I’ve spent more than a decade helping students navigate higher education. I earned a B.A. and M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island and have been teaching college writing, communications, and critical reading since 2010.

I realize learning doesn’t always come easily; I struggled with coursework, too. There’s a reason I don’t tutor math or the hard sciences! And I know just how frustrating it can be when the material doesn’t make sense yet you’re expected to figure it out somehow.
But I also believe that every student can make progress with enough support. That’s why I tutor.
I work one-on-one with students on everything from essay writing to oral presentations to study-guide creation. Or maybe you just need to manage your time better. (Wouldn’t it be great not to be taunted by a blank Word doc at midnight when your assignment is due at 8am?) Whatever the roadblock, I can help you get around it.
